Absolutely beautiful!!! I got this as a Christmas present and what a gift it is. One of my favourite Yeats' poem, 'The Song of Wandering Aengus' is brought to shimmering life here in a book edition with each line accompanied by a stunning illustration from Marina Marcolin/5. Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Very early school song book. Some classic and other songs from another era. Some wear to the cover, corners worn, and binding a little loose. Still very good for its age and type of book. Seller Inventory # More information about this seller | .

Apr 07,  · In the wake of Didion’s success, publishers have come to realize they can apply Yeats’s lines to pretty much any book that documents confusion and disarray. Thus Elyn Saks’s memoir, The Center Cannot Hold: My Journey Through Madness, concerning her bout with schizophrenia. Though these four words from Yeats surely resonate with Saks. But Yeats is a distictly modern poet (if you don't know his work) whose words are drenched in intelligence, passion, and a distictly Irish sense of humour. The intro in this collection is barely annoying. The bibliography is very handy. Big faves: (if you're hearty) "The Song of the Wandering Aengus", and "He Wishes For the Cloths of Heaven"/5.
